Unfortunately at the relatively young age of 52, Kevin has been diagnosed with frono-temporal dementia which is similar to the disease alzheimer's, the difference is that it attacks people at a younger age.

Kevin now needs round the clock care and the objective of the "Kevin Moore Benefit Fund is to raise funds to help support the family and the day care centre which Kevin attends...

...(White House at Curdridge).

Kevin moved to Otterbourne in 1985 when he joined saints from Oldham. He started his career at Grimsby, where his father had also been a professional player.

During his time at Saints he played 185 games and scored 13 goals. He subsequently moved to Fulham where his playing career ended and he became stadium manager of the training ground.

He has continued to live in Otterbourne and after his professional career ended, he turned out on a number of occasions for his village side, Otterbourne FC. Kevin's time as a professional was before the big money era that today'splayers enjoy.

Consequently any support that can be given by fans in recognition of his service to Saints will be greatly appreciated by Mandy, his wife. Kevin belongs to that rare breed of Saints players who have scored for the club at Wembley.

He achieved this in the Zenith Data Cup Final of 1992, when we were beaten by Nottingham Forest.
